BRUSH
Brush collection is an optional curbside service offered to current customers for a reduced rate.  Place leaves, grass, branches no larger than 6″ in diameter, and other yard trimmings in your brush cart for composting.  Please do not send landscape materials to our landfill.

RECYCLE
Clean and uncontaminated paper, cardboard, bottles, cans, aluminum, glass, and most plastics, including tubs, jugs, jars, and bottles numbered 1,2,4,5,7 go in your blue cart (no plastic bags, bubble wrap, film plastic, plastics #3 & #6, paper milk or juice cartons, or hard plastics).

LANDFILL
What is trash?  Thin plastics (bags and saran wrap), cat litter, ceramics, broken glass, and organics like food scraps. These items are not sorted and go directly to landfill – choose carts wisely!  Extra trash? Call us to schedule a pickup!

CART PLACEMENT

  • Place carts curbside in the street for service by 6 am on your weekly service day, with the wheels against the curb and the arrows on the lid pointed toward the street.
  • If you live on a street without a curb, place the carts on the roadside, 3 feet apart, and facing toward the street.
  • Space your carts approximately 3 feet apart.
  • Make sure the lids of your carts are closed and your cart is not over full, to prevent material from falling out as it is serviced
  • Please do not bungee or tie your lids closed.
