Recology San Francisco Public Tour (for individuals and community groups)
This tour is not for businesses, elementary schools, or artists applying to the AIR Program.
Have you ever wondered what happens to the items you put in the blue, green, or landfill bins in San Francisco? Join this tour to find out and become an expert on why we sort and how to do it properly. We will visit both the Recology Transfer Station and Recycle Central at Pier 96, where we sort paper, bottles, and cans. Registration is free and open to the public. Limit 10 visitors per organization. While children nine and over are welcome to join (with an adult guardian or parent), this tour is not for K-12 classrooms. Recology San Francisco Artist in Residence (AIR) Program Tour*
*Artists must attend a tour before applying if they have not attended one within the past three years.
Interested in applying to the AIR Program or want to learn more about our programming? Join this tour to learn about the program, how to apply, and hear from a current artist about their experience and work. Limit 10 visitors per organization.
