The Refuse Rate Board for the City and County of San Francisco has adopted a 3-year rate order that includes annual rate adjustments for recycling, organics, and garbage collection. This comes after a 10-month rate-setting process, including several public hearings, that considered Recology proposals, public comments, and input from City Departments.

Since 1990, over 190 professional artists and 60 student artists have completed residencies in San Francisco. The studio is located at Recology San Francisco, a 47-acre facility that is also home to a three-acre sculpture garden containing work by former artists-in-residence.
