YARD DEBRIS DROP OFF
Weeds, leaves, vines, grass, fruits and vegetables, tree trimmings, stumps may be dropped off at the Astoria Transfer Station. Customers in Gearhart, Warrenton, Astoria, and Cannon Beach may drop off yard debris at no charge. Fees apply for all other areas. Please no plastic bags, rocks, or dirt.

Cannon Beach residents may also drop off material at the Cannon Beach public recycling depot located at the east end of 2nd St.

Gearhart residents may also drop off their material adjacent to the Gearhart City Hall at 698 Pacific Way.

RECYCLE CURBSIDE COLLECTION
Recyclable materials include paper, aluminum, cardboard, bottles, cans, and most plastics (no plastic bags or glass!) Recycling is collected every other week on the same day as garbage. Learn more about commercial glass and cardboard recycling. The City of Warrenton provides residential garbage services within the city limits of Warrenton/Hammond. Please call 503-861-0912 for more information about garbage collection. Commercial customers may request debris boxes and dumpsters for garbage and recycling.

Glass Carts – Astoria Residents: Astoria residents now have the option of a 32 gallon mixed glass cart at no extra charge. The glass carts are serviced once per month, and residents may place glass bottles and jars of any color in their blue glass cart. This service is offered to Astoria residents only, and is included in residents’ regular collection package.

GARBAGE CURBSIDE COLLECTION
What is trash? Thin plastics (bags and saran wrap), cat litter, ceramics, broken glass, and other non-recyclables. *Curbside service is not available for 90 gal garbage carts in Cannon Beach. Extra Trash? Please place loose items in bags or boxes next to your cart on your regular service day. Additional charges may apply.

Cart Sizes & Placement

Carts must be placed at the curb or roadside by 6:00 AM on your regular collection day. Loose garbage should be bagged and secured – especially sawdust, ash, kitty litter, and Styrofoam peanuts. Place carts within 4 feet of the curb or roadside, and 4 feet from obstacles, such as cars, trees, basketball hoops and mailboxes.

Our carts have wheels and attached lids, making your job (and ours!) a lot easier. Need to latch your lids due to weather?
