Recology Western Oregon provides garbage collection services to residents and businesses in Tillamook County, including Manzanita, Nehalem, Rockaway, Wheeler, and Unincorporated Tillamook County. Whether you are a business owner, property manager, or resident, we will work with you to tailor garbage services based on your needs.

Curbside Collection

Collection is provided weekly, however every-other-week, monthly, and will-call services are available in most areas. Please contact us to set up service. Residents and businesses may also drop off materials at the Tillamook County or Manzanita Transfer Stations.

If you have recyclables, such as paper, bottles, cans, and plastics, please drop them off for recycling at Tillamook County or Manzanita Transfer Stations at no cost. What is trash? Thin plastics (bags and saran wrap), cat litter, ceramics, broken glass, and other non-recyclables. See accepted items here.

Extra Trash? Please place loose items in bags or boxes next to your cart on your regular service day. Additional charges may apply.

Set up or change service

Cart Sizes & Placement

Our carts have wheels and attached lids, making your job (and ours!) a lot easier. Need to latch your lids due to weather?

32 gallon cart, 75 lbs weight limit
32 gallon can, 60 lbs weight limit
90 gallon cart, 150 lbs weight limit

Carts must be placed at the curb or roadside by 7:00 AM on your regular collection day unless you have signed up for side yard service. Loose garbage should be bagged and secured – especially sawdust, ash, kitty litter, and Styrofoam peanuts. Place carts within 4 feet of the curb or roadside, and 4 feet from obstacles, such as cars, trees, basketball hoops and mailboxes.
