Pre-paid Trash Bag Program

If your household produces a limited amount of trash, and thus requires only occasional garbage pick-up, you may want to sign up for the Pre-Paid Trash Bag Program. It’s easy and economical way to ensure right size service and cost effectiveness.

This program allows you to pay for collection only when you need it. Once you’ve purchased a Pre-Paid Trash Bag at our office, you may put it out for service once it’s filled and we will pick it up.

Property managers may also use the Pre-Paid Trash Bag Program as an affordable solution to having extra trash occasionally generated by your tenants.

Program Guidelines

• Pre-Paid Trash Bags can be purchased at our business office.
• Filled bags must be placed at the street curb – not in alley s- by 6:00a.m. on the day of service. Contact us to find out which day collection service is scheduled for your neighborhood.
• The filled weight of your Pre-Paid Trash Bag cannot exceed 35 lbs.

Special Event Collection & Hauling

Planning an event in Humboldt County? We provide special event recycling, compost, and landfill collection services, from small meetings to large festivals. You’ll work closely with our Waste Zero Specialists to ensure maximum recycling participation at your event, and you’ll be provided with sorting posters, flyers, and guides.

Holiday Tree Collection

We will be picking up Christmas trees on Saturday, January 7 and Saturday January 14 for a $5 charge.  Please call our office to schedule.

If you subscribe to green waste service you may leave your tree next to your cart on your regular service day and it will be picked up for no additional charge.
