*Some Recology Auburn Placer service areas do not have yard waste service. Please contact us for verification.
RECYCLING & GARBAGE
Recyclables and garbage should be placed in your grey cart. It is not necessary to sort the material as it will be taken to a materials recovery facility (MRF) and sorted for you. This includes paper, bottles, cans, plastics, ceramics, and glass to name a few! NO household hazardous waste.
- We are not responsible for goods or articles in or near refuse container.
- To transfer or to vacate premises contact our office so that charges can be terminated.
- Temporary stops during vacation or other periods of non-occupancy may be requested one time per calendar year. Please call in advance of the requested stop period.
All past due balances are subject to 1.5% monthly finance charge applied on the 1st of the month following the quarter to which the billing applies and the 1st of each month thereafter until the past due amount is paid.
Rocklin Residents: The ordinances of the City of Rocklin require that you maintain refuse collection service. Balances past due more than 120 days may be declared delinquent and may result in the imposition of a property tax lien. Delinquent balances that are liened for collection are subject to a 15% City processing fee plus a 1% County processing fee.
In most areas, customers may choose to use their own 32-gallon container, which will be maintained by the customer. If you provide your own cans, they must be no larger than 30-33 gallons, weigh no more than 50 pounds when full and have handles and tight fitting lids. With this level of service, green waste containers are not available.
If requested, Recology Auburn Placer will provide 90-gallon containers. Rates vary depending on amount of material collected. These carts are Recology Auburn Placer property and are provided free of charge. However, the 90 gallon cart represents an increased level of service and you will be charged at the rate determined for collection service. Should you damage the cart, a replacement fee will be charged to your account.
We recommend that refuse should be at curbside the night before your collection day. Refuse must be at curbside by 5:00 a.m. on your collection day. Refuse above the level of your container will be collected and additional charges will apply.
