Please be advised: our April Drop Off Days, previously scheduled for April 3 & 4 have been postponed due to impacts from COVID-19. We will announce new days when information is available.
Unaccepted Bulky Items: Business waste, soil, sod, dirt, concrete, asphalt, commercial construction debris, automobile and truck tires, hazardous waste, regular household garbage, and furniture with lead paint. - Can I request an on-call curbside collection?
We offer curbside special bulky item pick-up service to residents for a collection and hauling fee. Please call for rates. To schedule a pickup, please call customer service at (530) 756-4646.
- What if I want to dispose of my item before or after the drop-off days?
Visit www.DavisRecycling.org for bulky item reuse and recycling options, or drop off items at the Yolo County Central Landfill (standard landfill fees apply). The Yolo County landfill also accepts reusable items for their thrift store everyday for free.
Please consider donating usable items (like sofas or tables) to a non-profit in Yolo County first. Not only will you be helping keep items from out of our landfill – you will also be helping great organizations!
