Hazardous Waste

Hazardous waste, including electronic waste, accounts for significant amounts of toxic waste in landfills. Hazardous waste also poses a health and safety risk to you, workers, and the environment.  

There are several locations within Clackamas County where you can take your household hazardous waste. Make sure to call locations ahead to confirm hours and materials accepted. 

You can also drop off hazardous waste at one of Metro’s transfer stations. Look up the transfer station hours, rates, what’s accepted, and more on Metro’s website or by calling 503.234.3000.
