Attention Gilroy & Morgan Hill Residents!
Our Compost Giveaways are back!
Based on the city you reside, we are offering local residential customers (not businesses) a chance to grab some of our rich compost to use for your gardening needs. Using compost improves the health of your soil by adding nutrients, helping it retain water and preventing run-off.
Gilroy
Date: April 20, 2024
Time: 8 AM – 12 PM
Location: Christmas Hill Park (Ranch side)
Residents are allowed to take one 32-gallon can of compost and up to two cubic yards of wood chips (chips provided by the City of Gilroy).
Morgan Hill
Date: May 11, 2024
Time: 8 AM – 12 PM
Location: Morgan Hill Corporation Yard at 100 Edes Court.
Residents are allowed to take one 32-gallon can of compost.
You must bring your own shovel, gloves, and containers.
Compost is an amendment and needs to be mixed with regular dirt or soil in a 50/50 ratio.
