I am a multidisciplinary artist working with traditional mediums and technology like sculpture, painting, and web art. To criticize a social issue, my works often involve the audience and staging an uncommon but humorous situation. I moved to the U.S. in 2013, and under the influence of American culture, I begin to rethink my own ethnic culture and identity, which is reflected in the works; for example, cultural gaps between Westerner and Easterner, displacement and alienation of immigrants, Asian women in the western context.

I was trained in design in Taiwan but chose to work in fine art after moving to the United States. After learning traditional art in Los Angeles, I chose to study a fresh discipline that applied technology to my work, and am currently a student in the San Francisco Art Institute’s Department of Art and Technology.
