On November 24th, Recology Western Oregon–Valley employee-owners had a great time participating in the annual McMinnville Downtown Association’s Santa Parade! Our Operations Supervisor Chris Breedlove and the Grinch (AKA Annette Middleton) drove the 1942 Dodge Recology Parade Truck as thousands of children and adults lined the streets.
We’ve participated in this parade every year and it keeps getting bigger and bigger. This was the first year we had the Grinch ride with us, and it was a huge success with the kids! We handed out around 200lbs of candy, and we’ll be sure to bring even more next year.
In addition to the McMinnville parade, our Coastal Oregon Recology employee-owners and their families had a blast participating in this year’s Seaside Parade of Lights! From a driver dressed up as the Grinch to a supervisor in a gingerbread costume, everyone pitched in to represent what it means to be an employee-owner at Recology.
A huge thank you to the entire Recology team and family members for your participation. Special thanks to Alicia Terra, RWO Payroll Coordinator, for all you do to help organize these events. What a great way to kick off the holiday season this year!
