Effective July 1, the initial phase of Oregon’s Recycling Modernization Act (RMA) goes into effect. This means Recology Ashland will adhere to the new Unified Statewide Collection List (USCL) for curbside recyclables. Some NEW items that can be included in your blue recycling cart include:
- Nursery pots
- Plastic pails and buckets
- Aseptic and poly-coated cartons (e.g., milk cartons and “Tetra Pak” shelf-stable cartons)
- Egg cartons and other molded pulp packaging
- Scrap metal (e.g., kitchen pots and pans)
