Mike Sangiacomo, President & CEO
A 26-year member of the Recology management team, Mike was recruited to be the Chief Financial Officer of Recology Sunset Scavenger's parent company in 1983. Following a 1987 merger with Norcal Waste Systems, Inc., he assumed the same role for the combined organizations until his election as President & Chief Executive Officer in 1991.
Reflecting both his individual interests and his belief in good corporate citizenship, Mike has served on the boards of many of Northern California's most effective community organizations, including the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and the San Francisco 49ers Foundation. Other board service has included the San Francisco AIDS Foundation (1994-1999) where he was Finance Committee Chair (1995-1999), South Bayshore Community Development Corporation (1998-1999), and the Bay Area Sports Organizing Committee (2001-2003). In 2008, Mike was honored as the city's "sustainability leader" in the San Francisco Business Times' annual celebration of San Francisco's most admired CEOs.

George McGrath, Executive Vice President & COO
George has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Recology since June 2008. From October 1998 to June 2008, George served as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer of Recology responsible for all of the Company's information systems. From July 1996 to June 1997, George was Vice President and General Manager of Recology Environmental Services, Inc., a subsidiary that merchandises landfill air space for residual wastes, processes organic waste materials and markets compost. Prior to joining Recology in October 1995, George served as Vice President and Area General Manager for Chemical Waste Management in the Western Region of the United States from October 1990 to February 1995.

Mark Lomele, Senior Vice President & CFO
Mark has served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Norcal since January 1997 and as a Vice President since November 1990. Mark has served as director and an executive officer of all of Recology subsidiaries. He also serves as an officer and a members' representative of Nortech Waste LLC, a large material recovery facility, located in Placer County, California. From September 1988 to July 1996, Mark served as Corporate Controller and from July 1996 to January 1997 as Acting Chief Financial Officer.
Mark has been a member of the ESOP's Administrative Committee since 1991 and has served as its Chair since February 1, 1995.
Mark is currently the Vice Chair of the national ESOP Association.

Arthur Cimento, Senior Vice President & CDO
Art has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Recology Inc. since August of 2008. He is responsible for business development, acquisitions, and technology investments. Prior to joining Recology, he served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategies at Celestica, an electronics manufacturing services firm, from 1999 to 2007. He was in McKinsey & Company's San Francisco office from 1988 to 1999, elected a partner in 1993. Prior to that, he worked at two engineering services firms. Mr. Cimento has been on the Board of Directors of SF Works since 1997 and on the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors since 1994, serving as Chair in 1998.
